My Students

More hands-on experiences... something my students need more of.

Majority of our students are lacking strong home environments and help at home, so it is our responsibility as teachers to provide them with as many hands on learning experiences as we can.

With these resources they will be able to actually see and feel items that they otherwise would have never used.

My Project

My students need hand warmers, compasses, and fossil kits in order to have a hands on experience with science. With these resources my students will be able to learn how to use a compass, understand how heat can be made by mixing chemicals, and see what fossils look like and be able to touch and 'dig' for them. Students will be able to warm their hands using the hand warmers, find their way out of the 'woods' (really a nature trail on school grounds), and 'dig' for fossils and be archaeologists for a day.

Students need hands on experiences in order to learn, and these resources will provide just that.

For our students they need all the extra support they can get and with your help we can make learning fun!
