There are so many new ways to eat healthy. By introducing new ways of eating healthy, we can pave the road for our students to living a long life of staying active and making healthy choices. There is no diet that will do what eating healthy does.
Welcome to Pre-K!
Come on in! We ask that you be respectful to those around you as well as the materials you play with. Language isn't an issue here; we're confident you'll pick it up quickly. We learn through play and exploration so you're required to bring your curiosity and imagination. Have fun!
Our kids are young, ambitious, and curious, but there's darkness lurking about that's much too serious. Pre-K is a time to explore and play, to imagine and create until the end of the day. But the trouble that's looming seems to be blooming. Academic rigor! Academic rigor! They're telling us to grow up much, much quicker. They want to prepare us to be college ready. We want to go to college, but at a pace that's steady.
Our parents can't help us out of the troubles that's lurking; it's not their fault! They're too busy working! It's up to you to help us keep our childhood we're about to lose, you wonderful people, the people of DonorsChoose!
My Project
Our students are young and impressionable. They attend a healthy school that has a program that educates all of our students in fitness and nutrition. As we promote a healthier lifestyle, we do our best to provide our students the environment to live a healthier life. Many of our students comply with our request of making healthy choices. We have changed our lunch menu to have healthier options. We have asked their parents to send their children to school with healthy snacks and they do!
I would like to take this to the next level by introducing new ways to eat healthy. The Nutribullet will be used blend up healthy fruits and vegetables into delicious smoothies for our students to consume.
A lot of food, such as yogurt, fruits, and milk, go to waste during breakfast and lunch. These foods can easily be transformed into delicious healthy smoothies and shakes with the Nutribullet and help prevent wasting food.

You will be helping our children learn of new ways of eating healthy, introducing new fruits and vegetables, and preventing food waste. The Nutribullet is an appliance I use daily at home. I know it will make a great addition to our classroom for our students and will make a positive impact on their young lives.
