My Students

In terms of resources online there are so many options for a teacher in the classroom if you have a computer with needed memory, hard drive space, etc. With an outdated computer with low memory, I could use help in possibly receiving an updated computer.

Our Pre K-5th grade school is one of the elementary schools in our area.

We have 550 students. I currently work with the student body weekly. I help incorporate PE, health and drug abuse prevention programs to our students. We have an active community and the support system here is wonderful.

My Project

As the enrichment teacher, I see all students each week. I work with PE, health, drug abuse programs, etc. school wide. There are so many wonderful online and interactive programs that could help my students, however we are limited. My old computer with low memory and a small hard drive is basically ready for retirement. The computer does not work well with most of those awesome online programs. Having to show streaming videos with health and drug prevention education is almost impossible. With great sites now that offer teaching resources with videos and interactive games, I could utilize those if I had a new computer with higher memory capabilities. A document camera would also be a huge asset to my classroom too!

As an enrichment teacher who works with all students weekly, I could use a new computer and document camera to help with many of my lessons.

A computer with higher memory and larger hard drive would help. Your consideration would be appreciated.
