My students need seven Darkiron Headphone Headsets.

In our classroom we all believe in having high expectations for ourselves. I have high expectations for my students because I know they can achieve them. They know that they need to work hard because that is their job when they are at school - working hard will make them better Mendota Scholars!
My children are wonderful students.
They are ready to learn and ready to work hard. We are always talking about how they are great, and how working hard now will make them successful in school and in life. Our school holds the same expectations for all of our scholars - we believe that they can achieve high expectations, so we set high expectations. Our scholars are a diverse group of students from many different backgrounds. Our neighborhood is a working class neighborhood that believes in our school and supports us, just as we support our community. The families of our scholars help us teach scholars to work hard, believe in themselves, and push themselves to be great. We work hard at our school, and in our second grade classroom, to achieve great things. Our problem is the headphones that we have now at our computers are old and are falling apart. This makes it much harder for students to be successful in their work.
I'm requesting seven Darkiron Headphone Headsets. Students are required to use an online literacy program called Lexia everyday, and this program has a listening component. Students rotate to the computers for this program everyday during our literacy time, so every student will use these materials everyday.
Students will not have to worry about being able to succeed at their literacy program because they will have headsets that are functioning and helpful.
They will be able to devote their attention to the task at hand, which will allow them to learn more and try harder. Having new headphones will allow students to focus on their work without being distracted by others. As they work through the literacy program, they will improve their literacy skills and continue to grow as scholars!
