My Students

Sitting at the desk all day, working on worksheets, or participating in classroom discussions does not keep the focus of a classroom full of boys.

Twenty-four boys to be exact.

Twenty-four boys who love games, love having fun, and love the excitement of learning new and exciting new information each and every day. My classroom is filled with boys from every walk of life, but they all have one thing in common. A love of games.

My Project

With the game boards, Guess Who?, my students will have the opportunity to review important people we have discussed this year in Social Studies, essential vocabulary words, and various reading strategies through a fun filled game. As one of my students once told me, "I didn't even know I was learning, because I was having so much fun." Help bring this project to life and make learning fun for our kids.

My project is very important, because I most of my students come from low income families and face an uphill battle on a daily bases.

As state testing draws near, having a project that keeps them interested and engaged will help them to truly show what they have learned this year.
