My Students

Can you imagine having an iPad? Well, we were fortunate to receive one from a very special couple! However, we still need to download game applications that make learning fun. Unfortunately, many applications cost money.

I teach an energetic group of second grade students who love technology!

They attend a small, rural school in a farming community. Many students don't have the Internet at home and look forward to learning and practicing academic skills online at school.

My Project

We would like to use this iTunes gift card to purchase applications that will engage students to learn more about science, math, reading, social studies, and writing. Titles like UnderSea Math, Math Magic, PuppetPals, and many eBooks are just a few applications that will help make learning come alive. Puppet Pals is a fun way for the students to create their very own plays by choosing characters and writing scripts. With eBooks, we would be able to download many interesting books to read too!

With your help, we will be able to use new and exciting applications on our iPad.

These creative learning opportunities will allow students to learn in a fun way year after year. Your contribution will not go unnoticed!
