My Students

Imagine going to recess and only seeing a big, empty field. That sounds boring!

I teach a wonderful group of 1st graders who have energy to burn!

They are an amazing group of kids who love learning and playing! Our students have outgrown our school and we are coming up for remodeling, but int he process we have lost our playground! All we have is a field to play in. We make the most of what we have but could do more with more!

My Project

I am asking for a set of sand toys, 12 jump ropes, 6 foam flyers and other outdoor toys. I plan to use these materials to help my kids get active during recess and have fun activities and toys to play with. My students will use the sand tools to play in the sand and use their creativity to build and make things. The other items will encourage them to get up and moving!

This project will make a huge impact in all of our first graders by helping them enjoy recess and actually have something to do!

Everyone deserves a great recess and I want to bring that to my students!
