Our school is about 30 minutes from Temecula or Ramona, in California. The students here are unique, caring and loving individuals! They have a desire to learn and grow into their own.
Our school serves students who live in the country-side and many of our students are local Natives.
Our students come from a low economic area in the city of Warner Springs. All of our students received free and reduced-price lunch.
We believe in personalizing education for these kids and making learning fun and interactive! Our campus is a K-13th-grade campus with enrollment being 150-200 students. All of our students at this school have something wonderful to offer and we would like to help them in every possible way!
My Project
As an educator, I'm always seeking new ways to improve my craft. I truly believe in being a life-long learner and this project will enable me to attend the 2-day Get Your Teach On! conference.
This conference would provide a wonderful opportunity to learn from two of the finest and well know educators in the field of education!
All of the students I teach deserve a teacher who continues to find new and innovative ways to educate them. This conference will include the following topics: ways to engage readers, STEM projects, Writers Workshop, math strategies and interventions, new technology available and ways to use them in the classroom, and much more!
This conference will help me keep up to date with the new and exciting ways to educate the young minds of our youth.
