Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Making learning fun is one of my goals as a teacher. Having wonderful games accessible for my students would be amazing.

I have twenty-six amazing fourth grade students.

The majority of my students are English language learners. Our school is a science and arts charter school and we are very fortunate to have a very close knit community. The parents at our school are usually ready to help the best way that they can.

My Project

My students need Scrabble Jr. games, Don't Let the Bugs Fall! game, The Chess Teacher game, Tic-Tac-Toe classroom game, The Allowance game and a Vocabulary Building Games Library. Bringing in these fun and educational games will positively influence my class. I currently do not have many games available. I have a few Connect Four games, but they are old and missing pieces. I want my students to have games that are ready to teach them crucial math and vocabulary skills.

If these games were to be brought into my classroom, my students will have an opportunity to practice basic math and vocabulary skills that they still need help in mastering.

They will be reviewing without even knowing it!
