My Students

Videos, videos and more videos! From the silly YouTube craze of the day to the important news surrounding us, video is everywhere. Students love to create them to showcase their learning but we don't have any video cameras. Help us create valuable learning experiences!

In a course of one day, I reach over 100 junior and senior high students through the electives that I teach in the Business and Computer department.

These students love using technology whether they are on the Internet for pleasure or using the computer to create an amazing presentation for school. Students are fully engaged if they are given the opportunity to let their creativity show in their schoolwork. Using the Flip video cameras is a hands on way for the students to show that they understand while also enjoying school!

My Project

If we were able to get these cameras, we have countless projects that can be completed. For Marketing, students can create commercials and movie trailers to show effective marketing strategies. In Multimedia, students can create videos and show off their editing abilities. In 7th grade, students will be able to create videos on cyber bullying and other Internet safety issues. Having these cameras opens up various opportunities and keeps kids excited about school.

These video cameras will make such a difference in my classroom.

Any help is greatly appreciated and will contribute to fun, interesting, and relevant learning experiences for so many students.
