My Students

Getting a little bored here... My students have been reading the same Leapfrog Tag books all year long!

The students in my classroom have a love for learning and reading.

All of the students in my class get to be involved in a very unique opportunity. They go school at the zoo every day! Animals are a large part of our learning and curriculum. My students are excited to come to school every day!

My Project

To teach a student to fall in love reading, a teacher needs the correct tools. I have a great start. My students really enjoyed using the Leapfrog Tag pens we have in the classroom for the first few months of school, but are now getting bored with them because we have been reading the same books all year long! In order for students to fall in love with reading they have to have choice along with a want and interest for what is available to them. I need more choice for my students!

Please help the students in my classroom to have FUN reading.

Bring a smile to their face when they go to the listening center and see that they can read about their favorite movie character. Help them laugh when they read about Walter the Farting dog. Please help my students fall in love with reading all over again by bringing more choice to my classroom!
