Have you ever seen a music program without percussion equipment or proper storage? My students are a part of a new school and music program and there are many basic supplies they need but we are unable to acquire. With your help they can have pride for their music room, school, and equipment.
Our students are the first and 2nd class of students to attend our school.
This school is a county-wide magnet applying to be International Baccalaureate recognized with a truly diverse population. Our students work extremely hard in a very rigorous academic setting - taking pride in their positive academic culture as well as cooperative school community.
My Project
These resources will be extremely advantageous to our music program as they provide basic percussion equipment important to perform standard musical literature. Additionally, proper storage is important for maintenance and protection of these pieces of equipment - the percussion table will keep our instruments in good working order, quickly obtainable, and organized.
This project will solidify the importance of music, proper equipment, and organization to a group up impressionable youths.
Not only will the donation service our immediate need it will give students confidence that their program makes a difference in the world and that the world values their artistic endeavors.
