Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students struggle every day to learn and excel. I feel that with the use of technology, they will increasing their levels of learning and pursue their dreams of doing great things in the world.
All of the students at my school receive free lunches and come from economically challenged families.
Using technology is not their first priority, keeping a roof over their head and food in their bellies are first priorities. Having access to a tablet and a great site full of books like myON is a privilege for them.
My students want to learn and become great leaders. They work very heard to get up to grade level.
My Project
By receiving these tablets, my students will be able to experience that technology. They will be able to involve themselves in learning by using the tablets to help. They can use the tablet for not only reading but also math. This tablet will be set up to meet the individual needs of my students. The students will be able to grab the tablet and automatically use apps that will help them further their education along with downloading books from myON and taking it home to read books. This tablet will be used individually as well as in centers.
My students do not have the opportunity to use tablets.
This will help bridge the Digital Divide with them and help them achieve their dreams of being great!
