My Students

My goal is to "take students places an Activity Bus cannot". Most of the students at this Title One school will never travel more than a few miles from their homes especially the minority students, i.e. Hispanic and African American.

My school is a Title One school located in a rural community.

The school demographics are consistent with the area which limits students exposure to differences, cultural awareness and tolerance. Through the use of digital apps and 3D viewers I want to expose my students to World!

My Project

The 3D Viewers will be used to view places and allow students to have experiences that they have only experienced through text and pictures (2D) in the past. Students will be engaged with hands-on activities that will pique their interest, increase creativity and engagement as they learn about the world around them - virtually!

There are many digital resources that can be used in conjunction with the 3D Viewers that will provide students with virtual experiences in a way that pictures (2D) was not able to.

Dreams of seeing the Pyramids, Tokyo, Rome, The Grand Canyon - it is possible with 3D Viewers.
