My Students

Have you ever run your own business? The students in third grade at my Elementary school will learn how to be an entrepreneur.

We are a small, rural school nestled in a quintessential small town with a community feeling.

Our school consists of 3 classrooms per grade level, K-5, plus our special classes-Art, PE, Music, and Library. We have 57 students in third grade who enjoy learning. Our students in third grade are hard workers and enjoy completing fun projects.

My Project

A huge part of third grade social studies is economics. The students will be learning about economics by working at a classroom job, earning classroom money, and running a business. Students will learn how to make choices and decisions as consumers and producers. At the end of our Economics Unit, students are able to go to the movies (in the classroom). Students pay for a movie ticket and are able to buy snacks to eat during the movie. We will use the candy for the Third Grade Store where students will be able to buy the candy with their hard earned play money.

Your donations will help provide a Third Grade Store where all the students can use the play money they have budgeted to buy sweet treats to enjoy while watching a movie.
