My Students

I would like my students to see the writing process in authentic ways. I would like more interactive ways for my students to work with reading materials. My students and I would both love for easy ways for them to share their work.

The students I work with are freshman.

Both special education and general education students. Many of the 1,100 students come to school ready to learn and the teachers work hard to help them achieve their goals. The student body is comprised of a diverse population and high poverty.

My Project

My students will be able to see a composition created in real time. My students can annotate or see annotations being made in real time. This authentic sharing and watching will help my students better understand the reading and writing process. My students will also be able to share their work easily with a document camera.

The students will be more engaged in what we are doing in class.

Students with sensory issues will be able to participate without having to touch a chalkboard. Student can be active in the reading and writing process as we work through a piece together as a class.
