My Students

"He who prescribe the diameter of your thinking dictates the circumeference of your activity"- Farrakhan. Geometery is math made real; it is a kinestetic and visual learning experience.

I serve predominantly Latino, African-american, and Asian/Pacific islander students.

A large majority qualify for free/reduced lunch. We aspire to equip our students with access to the necessary resources to provide them the opportunity to advance themselves and, 94% of our students go on to college. We offer a curriculum that is culturally relevent as well as academically challenging. Here, our students excel!

My Project

Having the aid of a docuviewer will enhance the learning experience, especially since my course includes a myriad of demonstrations. Our upcoming units require constructions and manipulating polygons. In addition, the device will greatly assist my students with IEP's (Individual Educational Plan).

A document camera is one of the easiest and quickest ways to integrate technology into my classroom.

Visual learners will benefit from the use of a classroom document camera by seeing small items, text, demonstrations in a much bigger way. Hands-on learners can also benefit from the use of a document camera by allowing them to be the ones placing objects or items under the document camera and explaining what they are showing. Another benefit of using a document camera is the decrease in copying expense.
