My Students

Do you remember what it was like when a teacher took the time to teach you how to use new equipment. My students would like to learn how to use a digital pH meter to analyze their chemicals in their 8th grade chemistry class.

My 8th grade students attend a high-performing middle school and performing arts magnet.

My students put on outstanding fine arts performances and are also amazing science students. I teach a very diverse group of highly motivated students that want an outstanding education to help them jump start their brilliant future careers. They all have dreams and the time you take to get them their supplies will help them achieve their dreams.

My Project

My students will use the pH meter to quickly analyze all of their chemicals. This will give them more time to enhance their Language Arts skills by writing down more detailed evaluations of their work. My students need dry erase markers because they all have dry erase boards, but don't have any markers to write on them. My students will be even better when they can quickly share their results on their dry erase boards. We will also reduce materials costs because we will use less paper.

This project is important because I am teaching my students how to take accurate measurements and to think scientifically.

Our nation needs more future scientists to help make our nation better. The future jobs will be out there. Why don't we give every child of today a chance at one of those great jobs tomorrow.
