My Students

Winston Churchill once said, "The price of greatness is responsibility." Our school has made it a goal for the 2014-2015 school year to empower our entire student body by teaching them how to take responsibility for their education and for their lives.

We are an early college in our fifth year of existence.

Our first full class will graduate in spring of 2015. We have 230 students enrolled at this time. We are a small school looking to strengthen our student body through daily classes meant to instill in students skills outside of academics that will help them to succeed.

My Project

We will be instituting a school wide initiative in which our students will have homeroom classes every day for 25 minutes. During this time we will have activities and classes to teach students success and life skills. We will use Stephen Covey's book in a 9 week program to help our students become more effective in their academic and personal lives.

Being able to institute this initiative school wide will improve student performance in every classroom.

Our students will gain skills to change their lives in every aspect, and as a school we will be able to breed a culture of personal responsibility.
