My students need beads, wiggle eyes, pom poms, pipe cleaners, felt, mod podge, weaving strips, looper kit, fabric squares, and a mat cutter to enjoy some fine art crafts.

My Students

Fine art crafts such as weaving, beading and string art could be the first time students at our school experience them!

Students rarely go to summer camps or have enrichment opportunities that allow them to make fun craft items.

Every time my students look at my crafty things, they really want to make one. Our school is a Title 1 school with almost all students on free and reduced lunch.

My Project

Crafts are looked over with my small budget, and with 220 students, items quickly get used. The craft resources I have listed, such as beads, looms, weaving strips and collage items, will help each grade level create a fine art craft to display and keep for many years to come. Help make their craft dreams come true!

This project is so important because students may get to experience weaving, beading, and string art for the first time.

Every child is an artist so we should let them experience every possible craft from collage items to looms!
