My Students

Do you remember a time you were ready for a meeting and all of a sudden you realized that you don't have that copy of the form you needed? Do you remember when you needed a certain type of form and realized that you misplaced it? Now what, how do you get it?

I teach at a 90% free and reduced school in Louisiana.

Our students don't have the basic supplies they need to function in a day to day situation. It gets worse, our school board had so many cut backs that we aren't able to make the necessary copies needed for students. Nothing is worse than getting to a lesson and there is not enough copies for each student to have their own. It is very difficult to make them copy everything that is needed especially when you are pressed for time. We are preparing for the LEAP test and there are many practice worksheets that are crucial for them to have in order to prep them for success of that test.

My Project

With your donation my class will not have to worry about not having the desired worksheets and each kid will get their own. My students will be able to pay more attention to the lesson if they have a worksheet of their own on their desk and can follow along instead of copying off the board. Nothing is worse than telling a parent we don't have enough money to make copies for your child. This machine will allow us to do more practice with our subjects by allowing us to have copies of our needed lessons.

Your donation will make my students feel as though they are thoroughly prepared for their lesson when they go home with their own worksheets.

Their parents will be excited that they can actually read it and are not struggling to figure out what their child wrote in their notebook. This copy machine will be greatly appreciated by all of us. Thank you in advance for your huge generosity!
