Coffee Makes Everything A-Okay: A Business Fundraiser

My students need a coffee brewer to use for a fundraiser opportunity and to serve as a morale booster within the school community.

My Students

In our business department, we rely on fundraisers like selling coffee to benefit our students, as well as supplying items like coffee as morale boosters within the school. Students, teachers, and administration would all benefit from the addition of a working coffee brewer.

These students are passionate about economic and financial techniques and about bettering school and community resources.

They often have great ideas, even for 7th and 8th graders. Our classroom discussions are proof that these students are intelligent and possess many positive entrepreneurial characteristics. My students would be ecstatic to find that their wish of a coffee brewer has been fulfilled, and that they are able to bless their fellow students, as well as staff and administration, with something as simple as a cup of coffee. They certainly have big hearts!

My Project

In order to boost morale, our business students have elected to offer coffee to students, staff, and administration at designated times during the school day. This could also be used as a great department fundraiser. They will further enhance their customer service, public speaking, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, while also learning to work together for a common goal.

Coming from a high poverty school, our students are not always afforded the opportunities that students in larger districts are blessed with.

They have great ideas and are always forward thinking, brainstorming multiple ways to benefit their school and community in a positive way. They would gain so much with the addition of a coffee brewer to the department.
