My students are hungry for technology! With Chrome Books the students will be able to devour a whole new world of technology in the classroom.
My students are thirsting for knowledge.
They are enthusiastic and energetic learners who love making discoveries and feeling a sense of pride. The world we live in today is constantly changing and in order to be successful contributors to society, our children need to have meaningful practice using various modes of technology. In order to prepare them for college and beyond, we must start practice with technology at a young age. As third graders, my students are learning how to utilize technology in all aspects of learning.
My Project
Chrome books are a wonderful resource that makes technological skills and the basics of the internet more accessible. With a chrome book, our students will be able to have quick and simple access to the internet right in the classroom. The Chrome books would help enrich the education of the diverse population of learners in the classroom. We would quickly and easily get access to educational math and language arts websites like Everyday Math Online, Study Island, XtraMath, Spelling City, RAZ Kids, keyboarding sites, and many more. These resources would allow our students to access the internet for extra practice, reteaching, and enrichment.
By donating to this project, the students will be have access to technology at their fingertips.
According to the kids, one of the best parts of the week is our weekly trip to the computer lab. Instead of incorporating technology once a week into the curriculum, the students will have daily access.
