I am a 4th and 5th grade looping teacher. I have a classroom of 25 students. These students are with me for a total of two years. My classroom is self-contained, so I teach all subject areas.

HELP!!! We have a love of reading...and someone stole our CASSETTE player. We can't listen to books on tape anymore.

This cassette player/CD player will allow the class to participate in large group book reads. We check books out from the library and listen to them on tape as a whole group. We then discuss these books and do a variety of activities with each book.

Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to continue their love of reading and experience success with reading. This project is an IMPORTANT aspect of education. Reading is the KEY to a better future for these children.
