My Students

Have you ever been to a concert, play, or recital an been unable to hear? This is the problem facing the parents and other students in our classroom and school. Without the support of amplification, our class plays and other music often cannot be heard by our audience members.

Our students attend the "new" elementary school in our area, which is 18-years old.

Students come from many different backgrounds. Many of our families are military because of our convenient commute to several military installations. They are creative and excited children who love to share their talents with others.

My Project

Each year, my first graders have at least 3 performances. These performances include a play and singing. Many times our classroom is full to overflowing with parents, grandparents, siblings, aunts, and uncles that come to watch our performances. With that many members in our audience, it often becomes difficult to hear students. With the funding of a karaoke machine, not only will our plays be amplified. We will also be able to sing along with our favorite songs that go along with our curriculum. We especially enjoy singing about animals and how they move.

By donating to this project, you will give our class a chance to feel like true professionals when we perform our music and plays.

Parents are so proud of their children and love the opportunity to hear as well as see them shine!
