My students need camcorder in order to create a PSA on digital citizenship that advises other students how to stand up to cyber-bullying.

My Students

I love to teach students different techniques that they can incorporate in other subjects. My goals is to have students well rounded individuals that know how to utilize the technology for all their core classes and understand the importance of digital citizenship.

I teach middle school computers in NYC.

In total, I teach a total of 345 students. Our school is committed to have students become well rounded individuals that involve technology in their education. Our students come from all over the world and represent the diverse population of New York City.

My Project

Students will create a short PSA on the importance of having a digital citizenship and how to tell if someone is being cyber-bullied. Students will learn how edit clips using story boards and WeVideo. Students will then present their work to each other and explain their movie.

Having these camcorders in my class will help work in groups and record their work.

They will be able to see their work as they are filming the work. Students will be able to see what they are completing and make necessary adjustments. They will then be able to display their completed work to their friends and family.
