My students need 30 calculators to assist in completing regular daily classwork, with scientific options needed for more advanced classes.

I teach Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry at a small urban school in central Indiana.

Our focus is on individualized instruction where students learn at their own pace and experience real-world problem solving through project based learning. Because we are a small school, we do not have many extra resources that students in other schools have.

Scientific calculators will allow each student to have a calculator of his own to use during class. At the present time, they are sharing four calculators and are becoming frustrated waiting on a calculator to finish their problems. They are solving problems using critical thinking skills and the calculators will help them get through the problems faster.

Your help will make it possible for each student to have their own calculator to use during class. It will also increase student motivation to learn and think abstractly.
