My Students

Have you ever tried to participate in recess or PE time without any equipment? It is boring, boring, boring.

We are a small rural K-8 public school.

All of the classrooms are multi-age classes. Our students are full of energy and enthusiasm for learning. We also have a desire to have fun and stimulate learning, cooperation, and good sportsman like conduct. These learning experiences will go way beyond the walls of our school. These are important life lessons that will begin with a great experience at school!

My Project

These resources will help our students to better enjoy their school experience as well as benefit their lives by helping to stay more active and lead healthier lives. Many of our students physical activity is limited to during the school day. We want to maximize their time spent in active play with new stimulating playground equipment. The skills that will be learned can may inspire a child to make healthier choices which will lead to a more active life as a young adult and then on to adulthood.

This project will mean the difference between our students sitting around at recess and limiting our Physical Education class by not having enough equipment for all students to be actively involved in a meaningful healthy activity that will benefit them for many years to come.

As an educator, I want to inspire children learn on all levels. I want to instill good habits in them academically as well as physically.
