These fourth graders have greedy hands, but in a good way. They can't wait to get their hands on our classroom library.
My students truly are excited to come to school each and every day.
Their first day back, their eyes lit up when they saw all the new books that were purchased over the summer. They couldn't wait to check out a book from their favorite series or author.
My Project
We are so fortunate that space is our biggest problem right now. With all the new books being added to our library, we unfortunately have a lack of shelves to put them on. In order to make our library an inviting, functional place for students to book shop, it is necessary for our classroom to get additional shelves and bins to house these books. This will not only help them to gain better access to their books, but also help to create an overall organized classroom environment in which they can easily search and borrow books.
Our school has worked so hard this summer to get these new books into the hands of our students.
In order to make these books available to my students, it is necessary to get additional shelves and bins to house them.
