My Students

Each day, my students and I start our day with our "Good Morning" song. This gets them ready for the day and our morning story. They're 4, so they need to be interested in story time to make it count!

My school is brand new.

We are apart of the UPK initiative. I love getting up and going to work everyday. Not one student is like the other, they all come from different neighborhoods, backgrounds and cultures. One thing for sure is, they LOVE to learn! I love watching their faces light up when a new book is introduced and how they giggle when they something funny happens in the story!

My Project

I can picture my students, sitting on bean bags and our couch flipping through pages of their new books- asking questions and wanting to read to me. I can see them in our listening center with a book in their hand, and headphones listening to the Audio. I see my students in the writing center arranging letter puzzles, sounding out words and learning tho write their first letters. It's an overwhelming feeling to know that I am responsible for their first teaching experience and, I want them to remember nothing but fun.

This project will make a huge difference to my class.

Some of my students are encountering the English language for the first time, these donations will help them learn the language in a stress free manner. It will be beneficial for my whole classroom. I cannot wait to see my kiddies ignite their learning!
