My Students

In today's challenging economy, even the most simple PE supplies are hard to come by.

My students are an amazing mix of ethnicities, abilities, and socio-economic statuses.

There are those who work hard at everything, those who try at what they like, and those who would rather sit and watch. Our school tries to support all the various students and tries to encourage those who are unfit to become fit for life.

My Project

The basketballs will allow my classes to learn all the skills associated with basketball. Skills such as passing, dribbling, and shooting which will eventually lead to an understanding of the game of basketball and hopefully a lifelong enjoyment of the sport.

By having more basketballs, my classes will have more time to practice their skills instead of waiting in line.

They will gain confidence in their abilities and learn a sport they can play for the rest of their lives.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
