American History: Prohibition: Why Did America Change Its Mind?
My students need pencil sharpeners that work, copy paper, Kleenex, and printer toner! I have been purchasing all of these items myself. Thank you for your donation!!!!
The continued nation wide economic problems have made their way to our school. Please help my students with the basics.
My students are from very diverse backgrounds, both culturally and economically.
My students range in age from 14 to 19. Our school is a Title 1 school located in California, with the majority of students qualifying for the federal free lunch program.
My Project
I was fortunate enough to receive great lessons from The DBQ Project, but unfortunately, due to a lack of paper and the large number of students, I am unable to make copies of the primary source and printed materials that will "engage all students in high-level critical thinking activities" quote by the DBQ project.
The pencil sharpeners will allow the students to have have sharp #2 and color pencils for map work, rather than trying one of the five dull sharpeners I currently have available.
The copy paper will allow me to move forward with The DBQ Project lessons mentioned earlier. The Kleenex will allow the students to clear their heads and be available to learn. The printer toner will allow me to continue to prepare and print worksheets for the students.
