A good book makes all the difference. This year I hope my students can fall deeply in love with reading! I want to open doors to worlds they have yet to explored through non-fiction books. I want them to become friends with Poppleton and Amelia Bedelia in their fiction books!
My students are curious and eager learners.
My class consists of 12 special education students who are lively and eager to read everyday! My students are in a self-contained classroom due to their specific learning needs, many of which are literacy based.
My Project
These fiction and non-fiction books will help my students soar through reading levels this school year as well as help them meet the common core goals set in place. Students will be able to use these books in many ways! Students will use them during independent reading time, partner readings, or when in a small group with the teacher. These books will keep my students engaged while developing their reading skills!
