My students need Help-Yourself Book Bins for our class library. The book bins will make it easier for them to find books they are interested in.

My Students

Do you remember trying to choose a book in your classroom library, but the shelves were packed? I would like to make choosing a book easier on my students by organizing the library with book bins. I have over 1,000 books in my library and having book bins will help all my students.

My students attend a low income, Title 1 School in the bay area.

Several of them are new readers and have trouble choosing books at their level. If given the opportunity, I can level the books and place them in bins for the students. This will make the library more inviting and students will be able to choose books that they enjoy.

My Project

My students need 6 Help-Yourself Book Bins for our class library. The book bins will make it easier for them to find books they are interested in. I currently have over 1,000 books in my library. I would like to organize the library by placing books in bins and labeling them with book levels. The library will be more organizing and look more inviting to all students. The bins will allow me to organize books by level, genre, and students' favorite authors.

Please help my students help themselves to reading a good book!

The bins will be used daily since students read every day in class. The students will be able to find a book at their level by simply going to the bin that is labeled with the level they are capable of reading.
