Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

This project is for middle school students who live in a socially and economically diverse community.
A large number of students in our school community are at or below poverty level making it difficult for them to acquire materials necessary for school. This project is intended for students in an inclusion setting. There are students in this class functioning below grade level as well as at or above grade level. My goal is to address the needs of all students by actively engaging them in the learning process.
My Project
The materials and resources in this project will help my students begin their journey into the world of interactive notebooks. Interactive notebooks are a creation of each students' individuality. Through the use of foldables and graphic organizers, my students will make their notebooks a visual and hands on representation of material taught.
These notebooks will become their "lifeline for learning", a personalized resource to go to for anything math.
"Owning" their notebooks will help my students create a sense of pride and accomplishment. Please help us begin our journey into the world of interactive notebooks!
