My Students

We are thrilled to be starting our first annual Multi-Cultural Festival that will be a campus-wide day of families, teachers and students learning about all of our cultures, languages, and traditions. We need your help to put this together!

The children of our school celebrate cultures from all over the world and speak many different languages; from Spanish, French, Arabic, and Tamil, to Mandarin and Japanese.

As teachers, we hear stories of the traditions our students celebrate as part of their cultural heritage. We knew there was something we could do to learn and celebrate their cultures as a campus.

My Project

We decided to hold a Multi-Cultural Festival this Fall to learn more about the countries our families come from and the cultures and languages these students are surrounded by at home. We are a "No Place for Hate" campus, which focuses on inclusion of others, putting an end to bullying, and celebrating each other's differences. Having a Multi-Cultural day of learning will help our students feel pride in their own heritage and gain valuable insight on their classmate's cultures. We hope these experiences will promote acceptance of one another.

Your contribution to our Multi-Cultural Festival supplies and activities will help us make this a truly exceptional experience for our children and families each year.

The activities will enrich the children's learning experiences in each "country" that they go to on this exciting day.
