My Students

My boys basketball team has 27 cents in the team account! I have inherited the team this year and would love to be able to give these boys an experience they will never forget. In order to do this, we must have the basic essentials!

My guys are great kids.

We are in an area that has a very high crime rate, and basketball is really the only outlet that most of these kids have available. I teach in a Title I school, which means we have very little funding for extracurricular activities. These kids parents are also struggling to give their kids the basics. It would mean the world to my kids for them to have such nice equipment to use during the basketball season. We could really use your help!!!

My Project

The items that I have selected would greatly help our team to compete in a league where all the other teams are greatly funded. We are the black sheep of not only the league, but also the community. I would just love to give our guys these bare essentials to offer them an equal playing field! I have requested balls, a locker, a ball holder, as well as a few items that will give our team an opportunity to compete.

You would really be making a difference in the lives of young kids who could go either way.

These kids have the potential to be very successful individuals in life, however without this outlet in basketball they may likely resort to other activities. Please help me make a difference in the lives of these young men!
