I teach kindergarten in a new magnet school in Tangipahoa parish. The school is drawing a lot of attention because it is the first of its kind in Tangipahoa parish and because our children are exposed to the arts and sciences through enrichment classes. I would like to begin work on an outdoor classroom for our students to use. This proposal is phase 2 in my quest to develop a fun, inviting place for the teachers and students to work outdoors. We have a nice courtyard with landscaping that I feel would be a perfect location for this project. This proposal is for our outdoor art studio. I would like outdoor easels, paint, paint pots, paint brushes, etc. I think that not only could the magnet kindergarten students make great use of these supplies, but the entire school would appreciate it.
