My students in third grade love to explore and learn through projects that are hands-on and creative. Our school is a traditional elementary school in California, but we are not traditional in the way we learn. We love to become part of history through simulations, get our hands messy with science, and get constructive in math. Literature has us interviewing novel characters in a T.V. show and writing letters to authors. Learning takes on a whole new dimension for us - and we love it!
