When can I expect my magazine subscription to begin? What if my project is funded late in the school year?
We’ve developed specialized agreements with our magazine subscription vendors to maximize the number of issues your classroom will receive. Please find details of our agreements with Time For Kids and Weekly Reader below.
Due to the publisher’s printing schedule, it may take 6-8 weeks for your first issue or sample to arrive. Also, because of varied order processing times, please note that the time frames below are estimates.
Time For Kids
If your project is fully funded...
September through December:
- You will receive four of the most recent back issues of your subscription.
- Your subscription will be processed immediately to start within 6-8 weeks of the order date, and will be delivered to your classroom until April or May.
January through April:
- You will receive a sample issue of the subscription within 6-8 weeks of the order date as a preview and to help you submit your Thank-You Package.
- Your full year subscription will begin in September.
May through August:
- Your full year subscription will begin in September.
- You will not receive a sample issue.
Weekly Reader
If your project is fully funded...
September through December:
- You will receive back issues of your subscription for all issues missed since September.
- Your subscription will begin in January and will be delivered to your classroom until May.
January through April:
- You will receive a samples issue of the subscription within 6-8 weeks of the order date as a preview and to help you submit your Thank-You Package.
- Your full year subscription will begin in September.
May through August:
- Your full year subscription will begin in September.
- You will not receive a sample issue.
