What should I do if I need to extend the due date for my Thank-You Package?
- 1. Access our Contact Form for Teachers, which can be found in the DonorsChoose.org Help Center.
- Sign into your account, select “My Thank-You Package,” and then "I need to extend my Thank-You Package due date."
- In the space provided, specify the project that requires an extension and select a new due date. The form requires you to choose an exact date: Month/Day/Year. You can request an extension of up to 2 months from your original due date.
- Provide a brief explanation of why you need an extension. Your explanation may be shared with your donor(s).
- Submit the form.
- A team member will respond to your request within 5 business days. Accordingly, try to submit an extension request MORE THAN 5 BUSINESS DAYS before your original due date.
