What happens if my materials are lost or stolen at my school?
We have a "two strike" policy for lost/stolen materials. If you are unable to locate your materials after receiving tracking information confirming delivery to the school, we can reorder them one time if you and your school are in agreement with the following:
When we reorder the materials, we must make note in your account and in the school's profile that there has been an instance of loss/theft after materials reached the school. If more materials are lost/stolen in the same school, we will consider it the second "strike." At this point, we will suspend DonorsChoose.org activity at the school until we are assured by an administrator that measures have been taken to ensure the security of deliveries.
The aim of this policy is to ensure the integrity of our donors' contributions by addressing any recurrent delivery problems. We appreciate your help and understanding.
