Should I submit a project for a specific occasion or upcoming class event?
No. We encourage teachers to submit projects that can be carried out at any time during the school year. It can take anywhere from five minutes to five months for a project to be fully funded, and we want you to be able to implement your project as soon as you receive the funding and subsequent materials. If your project is funded and you cannot utilize the materials due to their seasonality, please decline funding and DonorsChoose.org will reallocate the funds at the donors’ wishes.
