Can I modify the materials I requested after my project has been posted or funded?
After a project has been posted, the list of requested materials cannot be modified. While we realize numerous changes can affect a project's requested items, we fulfill projects, down to the items purchased, according to donors' wishes. When a donor knows exactly where a contribution goes and then receives feedback that matches those expectations, they are more likely to be inspired to fund another project.
If you no longer need the exact materials requested for a project that has not been fully funded, or if you do not want your project to stay at DonorsChoose.org, please access the "Teacher Contact Form" located at the bottom of your teacher account. Select "My Posted Project." Select the specific project and request that it be removed from the website.
