What should I do if I lost part or all of my Thank-You Kit or never received it?
**Only possible for projects funded before August 10, 2009, for teachers who selected the "non-digital" Thank-You Package option. All other teachers can access Thank-You Instructions via the teacher account.**
Thank-You Kits are mailed after your materials are ordered and typically take two weeks to arrive at your school. You will receive an automatic email notification on the date your materials are ordered. Please follow the instructions below if you do not receive your Thank-You Kit within two weeks of that date.
- Use the Contact Form for Teachers and a team member will email you a pre-paid mailing label.
- Access your Thank-You Instructions:
- Log into your teacher account.
- Click the link next to your funded project titled “Thank-You Instructions."
- Follow the instructions to submit your Thank-You Package.
- Submit photos using one of these options:
- Mail us printed photos
- Purchase and send your own disposable camera*
- Email 6-8 photos to typhotos@donorschoose.org with your project id in the subject line.
- Once everything is ready, print the prepaid mailing label and tape it to the envelope.
*IF YOU SEND YOUR OWN DISPOSABLE CAMERA: Before taking any photos of your students, take 2 pictures of your project id number (printed by you on the outside of your own envelope) USING THE FLASH. Those photos will allow us to match your photos to your Thank-You Package once they're developed.
Donors enjoy seeing photos of their donations in action. But if including photos would prevent you from sending us the package in on time, don't include them and instead write a separate note to let us know why photos were not included.
