How do I remove a posted project from the site?

We understand that a situation may arise where you no longer need the materials for a posted project or you need to remove it from our website for another reason.

Please review the guidelines below. If you agree to these guidelines, you can remove any active project directly through our website, with the exception of Class Trip and Class Visitor requests (see Removing a Class Trip or Class Visitor Project below). Simply log into your teacher account and click the "remove" button below the project's title.

  • Removal is permanent and irreversible. The project will be archived and moved to the “Expired/Archived/Closed” section of your teacher account, where you can view it but you will not be able to edit or repost it.
  • Upon removal, any donations attached to your project will be returned to the donors as account credits that can be used toward another project. (If any friends and family made donations, you could ask them to use their credits toward another of your projects.)

Removing a Class Trip or Class Visitor Project
Due to the resources required to process Class Trip and Class Visitor projects, we prefer to handle these removals on a case-by-case basis. Please use the Contact Form for Teachers to request removal of a Class Trip or Class Visitor request.
