What is an expiration date?
The expiration date is the date that an un-funded project will be removed from our website.
When you are submitting a project, you can choose an expiration date sooner than the default date of 5 months. We suggest that you change the expiration date only if your project really cannot take place after a certain day. Your expiration date should be about 5 weeks before the last day you can do your project. Entering a date does not mean that your project will be funded faster, only that it will be removed from our website on the date you select if it isn't funded.
Your expiration date also needs to be at least 6 weeks from the day you submit your project, or your project will not be reviewed since it probably won't be posted long enough to get funding.
