Why do you charge shipping charges and sales tax?
We average our shipping charges to 10% of the material cost even though sometimes the vendor will not charge us shipping charges, simply because in other instances, the shipping charges are excessive. For example when shipping furniture, bulky items, or heavy materials, the shipping charges are usually over 50% of the material costs. We only charge Sales Taxes for projects in certain states where we do not have tax exemptions.
