How many projects can I have posted/in process at any given time? What does "in process" mean?
A teacher may have up to 8 projects in process at any given time. DonorsChoose.org is a nationwide organization and if every teacher had more than 8 projects in process at DonorsChoose.org, we would not be able to fulfill projects in a timely manner.
If you currently have 8 projects in process, you will not be able to submit any additional projects until there is space available in your account.
A project is considered to be "in process" from the time you submit it to DonorsChoose.org until we receive your complete Thank-You Package. If a project expires without funding or is removed in the submitted, posted, or partially funded state, we consider it closed. Once a project has been closed, a space opens up in your account and you can submit a new project in its place.
