What does DonorsChoose.org do after I've submitted a project? And why hasn't my project been posted yet?
Our screening volunteers carefully review each project prior to posting. Volunteers may contact you via email to ask clarifying questions or make suggestions that will improve the chances of your project being funded. Please remember to check your email, as you may be contacted regarding revisions for your newly submitted project.
We attempt to screen all project submissions within 10 business days. On some occasions, we simply receive more projects than our volunteer-based organization can manage. Field Trip, Class Visitors, and Special Requests can take up to 15 business days to review. Please accept our apologies for these rare occasions and our gratitude for your patience. You can help ensure timely posting of your project by carefully completing all steps in the submission process and accurately providing all requested information.
